Tom Armstrong formed Armstrong Interiors in London in 1987 and gained considerable experience when he undertook projects for various notable Interior Designers. He moved the Company to the Cotswolds in 1997. He is an accomplished artist, and attended Glasgow School of Art where he developed his unique flair for design and colour. His passion for wood began when he and his family built and fitted out a 90 ft brigantine in London; a two year project that included laying a teak deck and extensive use of oak panelling in all cabins.
Armstrong Interiors is renowned for carrying out intricate work and specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke furniture which includes breakfront bookcases, fitted cupboards, unique cabinets, wardrobes and hardwood doors. Tom is particularly adept at understanding exactly what the client wants and his considerable attention to detail ensures a high quality of workmanship. The refurbishment of listed and non-listed Cotswold properties and barn conversions forms part of his extensive portfolio. He has also created a close working relationship with local craftspeople, embracing their specialist skills for maximum benefit to the client.
